DNA polymorphism. Includes single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) and associated data, for example, the discovery and annotation of SNPs. A SNP is a DNA sequence variation where a single nucleotide differs between members of a species or paired chromosomes in an individual. Includes restriction fragment length polymorphisms (RFLP) in a DNA sequence. An RFLP is defined by the presence or absence of a specific restriction site of a bacterial restriction enzyme. Includes microsatellite polymorphism in a DNA sequence. A microsatellite polymorphism is a very short subsequence that is repeated a variable number of times between individuals. These repeats consist of the nucleotides cytosine and adenosine. Includes variable number of tandem repeat (VNTR) polymorphism in a DNA sequence.
